Beware of the dog

1. The pilot said his wound was like finding a dead cat on the sofa. The simile reveals that the authors state as mind as he think things are funny. He really doesn't take things serious.

2. When the author repeats that,it makes you think if he is going to pass out. Also it makes you want to read more and found out what happens.

3.He is scared to fall in the water because if he falls into the Channel he will land in France, and France is the enemy of England so it wouldn't be a good idea.

4. When he started describing the sun and clouds as whiteness and blackness I thought he was going to die.I thought he fell in the water and had died.

5. The details that reveal his history is Battle it say "He heard that noise everyday during the battle."In the story Battle means Battle of the Britain ( 1940) in which Germany tried to conquer Great Britain.

6.If they are German bombers they will probably try to bomb him, and Great Britain. You can infer that the nurse is probably scared that something is going to happen.

7. I think he was going to say "the water isn't very clean" he don't share it with the nurse because he dont want her to know his business.

8.He is a light hearted person because she doesn't care about many things

9. The pilot conclude that he is in France because she see the cottage and  the plowed fields. Also he saw the words Garde au chien which is french for Beware of dog.

10.He remembers it now because the France got him and he is in trouble.

11.He might have finally realized that the statement is very important by saying nothing else.
